Urban Outfitters

When visiting the actual Urban Outfitters store in Copenhagen, I seldom find what I am looking for. The style there is very hippie/bohemian and that's not exactly "my thing". But when I surf their online store, I cringe at the fact that you can't order online to DK. They have great things in between the floral insanity and one brand that I am particularily happy with is Silence+Noise. I was lucky enough to pick up a S+N jacket while in London.

This black slouchy bag would do me wonders. I love the gold details and I also like how you can wear it as a long bag, or remove the strap. Seen on Urban Outiftters's online store for 45 £. A price I would gladly pay if only I could buy it in the Copenhagen store!

These amazing boots by See by Chloe would perfect my winter shoe wardrobe! They're chunky and durable, and would make a perfect contrast to skinny jeans and a feminin top. Unlike the bag, the price isn't budget-friendly and if you want to own these suckers, you're going to have to take a bank loan to the tune of 365£.

This Silence + Noise dress would be perfect for New Years. It's sexy without being vulgar. I would probably wear my hair in a tight bun, apply some bright red lipstick and wear a pair of loud heels. Then I would be ready to go! Unfortunately, I prefer real leather. But then again, the fact that it's not real, lowers the price considerable. I can never win! Haha..could be yours for 48£.

I am in love with this sweater. I also think the styling on the picture is spot on. I would pretty much wear it exactly as shown. I am into the stripes and the length of the sleeves. Plus, I am a sucker for dark colours... Be mine please! For just 42£ I could hop right into this winter wonder...

I wouldn't mind jumping right into this black jacket. I would wear this with a long pair of leather gloves to add a bit of femininity (and warmth!). Seen on the Urban Outfitters online store for 110£.

Dresses dresses dresses!

I absolutely loves this dress (on the left). I haven't seen anything like it, and I can't deny my love of tiedye making a comeback! I would probably wear it exactly as shown in the picture, with my hair pulled back into a tight ponytail and with leggings. I also love the necklace shown in the picture, but I would probably wear other shoes. This baby is by Uma Jane for 568kr. A very reasonable price.

The black dress (on the right) is what I would call the epitomy of sex. I wish I didn't have any hips and that I could pull this off! I'm just scared that if I did buy it, it may not fit how I wanted it to..But damn, it's nice! This dress can be found on asos.com for 480kr, again a very reasonable price.

This dress on the left would be the coolest everyday dress. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who go on "fairly affordable" sites and of course, fall in love with the ones that are the most expensive. Fack! I still haven't quite made up my mind about sculptured shoulders. I don't exactly like the 80's when it comes to its fashion contributions. But I think this dress is done in a tasteful way. Seen on asos.com by Illionaire Intentions for 1398kr. Much more than I can afford (or want) to pay for a dress!

Yet again, another dress the reaks of sex. There is something very alluring about that cut-out. But again, it's one of those dresses you need to try on before purchasing. And as far as I can tell, the quality may not be fantastic? It looks like very thin material..either way, it's still hot. Seen on asos.com for 612kr by Aqua Couture.

This blue addition also by Aqua Couture is another dress I defintely would invest in without thinking twice. The colour is vibrant, a nice contrast to the often-seen black and gray winter pallet. I don't own anything in this colour, and I would wear it to parites, but also for everyday use. I love the length. I mean, the dress itself isn't exactly sexy, but the length adds that bit of slut I'm looking for. Haha. Seen on asos.com for 743kr.

When December rolls around, I think I'll be doing my first ever online shopping. The tiedye and blue dress are on the top of my wishlist and if you're going to invest in a few colourful pieces, why not do it during the winter while everyone else is running around in dark colours?

Some clothes

What do I wear and actually own? And, how do I look? Here are a some answers:

In the picture to the left, I'm wearing a Stylein dress bought at Samsøe Samsøe. My purse is from Dixie and my watch is Calvin Klein.

On the right, I'm wearing a Gestuz top (I also have it in white), Georg Jensen daisy earrings+ring and my beloved CK watch. I apologize for the poor quality of the picture.

Below, I'm wearing a pieces scarf, a zipper top from Samsøe Samsøe (a current favourite) and ripped Global Funk Jeans.

Accessories

This beautiful and creative necklace by 3,1 Phillip Lim would dress up every outfit I have. This can be yours from youheshe.com for 1340kr.

These high shoes would make a great detail with skinny jeans and a tshirt. You wouldn't need anything more. See on asos.com for 874kr, a price I certainly would pay. But, I work at a shoe store, so I feel sort of stupid paying anything above 300kr for shoes :(

This leather bag is exactly what I love. It's real leather and well, I have a thing for studs. It's a bag I would use for everyday, but also for going out. Also seen on asos.com for 393kr.

Wants

Helmut Lang, you are amazing. I love these two fabulous party tops that would fit right into my wardrope. I wear my party tops out in town, but also for everyday. I just dress them down with leggings. Unfortunately, both tops are out of my price range. Can be bought on youheshe.com

Newly discovered

I have discovered Helmut Lang. I love the jackets with a passion. They are all so god damn nice. Their structure is cool without being overdone. And of course, I am a sucker for the black and gray pallet used. Unfortunately, this will be one of the (many) designers I can only dream of... Check it out for yourself.

All jackets are between 680-1280 euros. So 5032kr-9472kr..sigh.

Be mine

If there is one bag that not only is classic and a good investment, but also relatively affordable, it's the Mulberry Bayswater bag. I truly don't believe this awesomeness is going to go "out of style". Ever. It's not the official dream wish bag of mine, but I sure do want it! Maybe it's time to start saving up? It just seems like it would be one of those perfect wardrobe staples that could go on living (and thriving) in my closet for years.

This baby could be more expensive if you want the ostrich skin version. But I prefer this classic version, especially when you don't have shit tons of money to spend. This is a much more safe buy.

But loooook at it! The structure is classic, the leather is soft and it matches everything. Everything in my wardrobe would love to have this as an outfit addition. I want you..

This fantastic classic could be yours for 4810kr (circa). Yep, time to start saving up!

On the shopping list

Why not get right to it?

This fabulous winter jacket is going to do me wonders out in the cold. I have a lot of jackets, don't get me wrong, but none are what anyone would consider warm. So, I see it as a good time to invest in a warm, but still slightly stylish winter addition.

This blue awesomeness is from Samsøe Samsøe for a "small" sum of 1400kr. Fucking great. Well, that's going to leave a nice little dent in my wallet (and not to mention my entire November month!).

I found the perfect sweater for winter. I do this every single year. I try to find the perfect sweater, and when I do, it's one of those must-have, can't live without it items. The colour is ridiculous. The muted pink is feminin without being too "girly". It will be a good addition to my everlasting black and gray wardrobe.

Also, from Samsøe Samsøe. And you know what that means! That means this item will also make a noticeable mark in the finances. This dream sweater can be yours for a measly 1000kr! Fuck, I'm screwed this month.

Both jacket and sweater have been ordered and will be mine in less than 2 weeks! Oh the shallow joy material goodness brings..

This is the other sweater I've been looking at for some time. And once again, also from Samsøe Samsøe. I somehow manage to find coloured clothing, but at the same time...None of the clothes here are all that colouful. Meh, it's a start. The draping is what really catches me. Alas, this item isn't officially on the shopping list for November. The jacket and sweater (and a dress that I have yet to find a picture of) are going to have to come first.

This sand-coloured baby can be yours for 600kr. Not too bad, but then again..

Considering we've only been here for a little while now

Yes, I've become one of them. I'm taking the popular plunge into cyberspace and will start blogging. Yep, I'm one of those who loves fashion, music and all that other horribly typical garbage. I already have a blog on livejournal, but that's more of a personal day-to-day diary of life experiences and life troubles (xmoonstonex.livejournal.com)

This blog is going to be more directed at artificial interests and in turn, will be much more public. I'm not even sure who will end up reading this, but that's not really the point either way. So enjoy the pictures, the fashion related crap, and the utterlessly pointless ramblings I might end up making.
