My weekend so far has been excellent. Here's a shot of me from Friday at the school. It was Friday Cafe, Christmas theme. So I wore my Christmas sweater (as I call it) to get into the spirit of things :)

So Message had a sale yesterday, 40% off everything in the store. I hate how they held the sale at the end of the month where I'm obviously BROKE. Thanks a lot. But I had put two items from Message on my Christmas wishlist, so I convinced mommy to go with me and pick up the items so that they were cheaper. Plus, I got one more bracelet from Blond Accessories. If only I had had more money, I would have gone insane.

This is who I am

My crazy shirt, with insane colours is from the make "This is who I am". I cannot find anything on the net about it, but it's carried at Samsøe Samsøe. I'm pretty satisfied with this buy, considering I suck at colour and wearing it. The typical winterwardrobe consists of black, grey, white, and more black. But I'm trying to avoid that this year!

Last year, I went to the neighbouring town to buy a winter jacket. There aren't that many clothing options in my town- if a cool jacket for less than 300bucks shows up, most people run out and buy it, meaning a lot of people at the same school end up with the same jacket. So last year, I thought, "I really want to avoid that". Sooo..Kolding didn't have a Message store and I found my jacket at the Message store in Vejle. I bought this jacket in black by mbyM, for 1300kr last year. I love the femininity of the jacket and the length. Well, a Message store opened up here in Kolding in March and this winter- guess which jacket everybody has bought from Message? THIS JACKET. Ugh. Annoyance. Seriously fucking annoying.

My love of Topshop

The topshop near where I live is usually a bit crazy for my taste. Again, I hate how the their internet shop is seriously awesome and has about a million things I want and the store basically has nothing. What is up with that!

Wishful

If I could jump into these items right now, I'd be pretty jolly!

These leaf earrings are pretty cute. My only problem is I tend to buy real jewellery. AKA real silver, gold or gold-plated silver. I don't like synthetic materials as I've got sensitive skin and maybe also because I'm a bit vain. But they're pretty and I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for something similar. Could be yours for 43kr at Asos.com

Cropped top from Asos for 140kr. I would totally buy it, but then again, I suck at this whole internet shopping thing. I'm scared that the clothing will be the wrong size, or look like shit, or I'll end up having to send it back (costing me more money) or all of the above. But I sure do like it!

Of the items posted, these shoes are pretty much the only realistic buy. I know we're getting this shoe at the Bianco I work and I'm pretty darn excited about it. It's hard for me to find every day heels that can double as party shoes. I'm pretty sure these would work for both work, school and party. But I have to wait a few months before the arrive in stores. Sigh.

The big party

So, every year my school throws a huge party, the Dorothea party. And every year, people get dressed up (though if it were up to me, they should get even more dressed up). This year, I decided to go all-out since it's my last year at the school. And of course, I found an expensive dress (expensive considering I'm still going to school and it was a third of my monthly income).

This dress is by Gestuz for 1300kr bought at Samsøe Samsøe.

I wore these shoes with the dress. They're from Bianco with a retail price of 450kr. Though, lucky me never pays retail at Bianco, since I work there. At least there are some perks with the job!

To finish off the look, I wore a statement eyeliner on my top lid, a winged shape. I wore Chanel's Rouge Noir nailpolish and simple jewellery.

Stylein again...

I absolutely love this dress. Even the colour works here. I've never been a fan of orange, it reminds me too much of Halloween, especially since the "only" thing that goes with orange is black, and that makes it even more Halloween. I have no idea about the price, and I kind of don't care. I probably won't ever own this dress, but damn I love it!

DIY

I saw this smoking Herve Lager dress with cutouts. I mean, it would be quite hard to duplicate the stips of material, but you could "easily" make a strapless dress with cutouts. Should I try to throw myself into this project?

These leggings would be even easier to make. You could somply buy a pair of tight black leggings and systematically (or not) cut holes down the front. I'm not sure if this would be considered jumping on a fashion bandwagon, but I'm really into the look.

Won Hundred

I love zippers. If I had the time, I would take a couple pictures of my favourite clothes that all happen to have some sort of zipper detailing! But alas, I don't have the time... I've seen a couple nice things by Won Hundred, all with zippers. Check it out...
This dress is listed at a very reasonable 799kr. I'm just wondering how it would work; too casual for the town, too dressy for day? Hmmm, maybe I'm over-thinking it. Lovely either way.

Wardrobe staples by Acne

If I was able to wear Acne clothing, and only Acne clothing for a whole year, I would not be sad. But of course, this is wishful thinking...

This dress is of course sold out. That probably has to do with the fact that it's ridiculously awesome, it's classic and it's not that expensive. It's listed at 1395kr. It's no wonder their stock was emptied out!

I, just like everybody else, love skinny jeans. Skinny jeans are basically great with everything. But then again... I saw this model on the Acne website and thought, "Wouldn't it be nice to wear bell-bottoms again?" I was lucky I was able to pick up a pair that look a bit like this last year from Samsøe Samsøe. But I think skinny jeans are here to stay (not necessarily a bad thing!). Listed at 1195kr.

Well hello there gorgeous (and outta my price range) jacket! I love suede, I love statement jackets, and I love details. Most of my jackets are in quite neutral shades and I loved how this one is GREEN. Very green. Wouldn't it perfect any black/gray/white outfit? Could be yours for 4095kr.

Electro

I have had a great couple of days. My weekend was perfect all except one thing. And that was that it went by too quickly. Friday, I was at a concert. Mads Langer isn't usually my cup of tea, but I thought "why not" since my man wanted to see it. Holy fuck, he's an amazing singer. Here's the outfit:

I was at my good friend's birthday party on Saturday. I had a blast. Great food, good company, and a fun night out on the town where I got to dance all worries away!

I was wearing a lace top by Wilfred (my favourite brand from my favourite clothing store in Canada, Aritzia), high-waisted skirt from H&M, blazer from H&M, nerd glasses bought in Camden Market in London, Calvin Klein watch, Blond bracelet and boots from Bianco.

It's been a great weekend :)

Look-a-like

I blogged about these gorgeous See by Chloe boots a couple weeks back. You know, the ones that were gorgeous but completely out of my price range? Well, I found a good look-a-like that wasn't too copycat. BUT... of course, I can't find a single online store that doesn't send you to smartgirl.dk (the netshop that doesn't have my size in these boots)!

Here's the ridiculously expensive See by Chloe boot that I want, but will never own...And below, we have the version that is awesome AND affordable... They're by Defeeter and will only cost you 499kr (unless you're a size 36/37, then you can buy them on smartgirl.dk for 50kr less).

I work in a shoestore and have so many great boots... but nothing that looks like this! To buy or not to buy? Aaaahhh, I want them. Maybe for Christmas.. Or maybe I'll just buy them when I get my next pay check (in 22 days, the countdown has begun. Haha).

Blond

I absolutely adore the Danish make Blond Accessories. I've checked out the site and spotted my favourites. I even own a couple of the items already. Aaaahh, happiness. What do you think?

I own the rope necklace and the studded bracelet with just 4 tracks. Both items were picked up in Message. The necklace was 299kr and the bracelet was (as previously mentioned) 199kr. I would love to own all the other pictured bracelets :P

The items below are on the wishlist. I'm pretty sure I'll be picking up the black purse with zippers next pay check though. I am completely unable to find the Black Lily bag with studs that I want, and this would be a nice alternative. I feel I need a new everyday purse. AND...it's only 699kr. Can't beat that :)
