There's a chemical in weed called "Fuck it"

I GOT MY GALLA DRESS! I'm utterly excited about this positive turn in events..I can't even believe my luck really. I had tried this dress at a higher-end boutique in September-I'd wanted to buy it for my birthday. But with a pricetag of 1400kr (which was a bit steep), I had to let it stay in the store. By chance I was downtown last week-and it was on sale; 550kr. So it had to be mine...all I'll say for now is it's from Rützou. I'm going to have refrain from posting pictures until April when I actually have to wear it.
I bought this jacket on Trendsales- I can't wait to receive it in the mail. Back in November, I was in doubt whether to buy this jacket or my blue one with the fur. Due to reasons I don't want to mention here, I opted for the blue one. But when I saw it on Trendsales for a reasonable price (it was 1300kr in stores!), I thought "why not?".

Last night was a pretty fun night. We started out at my place, the boys were drinking and I smoked up. We then bar-hopped a little and ended up at Pistop. Here are some shots from the evening.
Did everyone else have a good weekend too? Yeah, now I've gone from barfing-sick to sinus-sick. Can't wait til March comes around, a fresh new month without sickness (hopefully)!

Coin laundry

I picked up a lovely Acne T today (and ordered the white Gestuz bodystocking in the right size). If Acne tshirts didn't retail for 300kr+, my wardrobe would be stocked to the brim with these lovely suckers!
And..my dream bag of the day is this lovely creation from Alexander Wang. I mean, if I had the money to buy a high-end bag, I'd be hesitant about buying Wang- he makes things that are no doubt lovely, but I'm just not sure if his stuff is timeless? Regardless, I wouldn't mind having this baby hanging from my arm...
Can't fucking wait til we get these at our Bianco- but I'm going to have to wait until April. Damn! The picture below doesn't do them justice. IRL they're amazing (they have a zipper all the way down the back). But at least I have something to look forward to..

Wow

I can't really say anything but that-wow. There is so much from this collection I want. But for you guys, I've selected my favourites. Isn't this stuff perfect? Must haves (for me) are defintely the snakeprint dress, the creme blouse and the blue V-neck dress. These things would perfect my summer wardrobe- both dresses can be worn as daytime or evening...aaaaah. I'm going to have to wait until April before they can be mine.

Check out the entire collection here: www.wonhundred.com

Girl Inform Me

And... sickness has crept it's ugly face back into my life again-thanks a lot. Between exams, puking all night and homework, things are pretty hectic around here. But I swear to god, I'm going to FREAK OUT if my Saturday is ruined AGAIN by puking madness. I don't care if I'm sick, I'm going out dancing no matter what!!

Here's my summer shopping list:

-bleached cut off jean shorts
-tons of crazy coloured nailpolish (like mint green, banana yellow, creme, etc.)
-statement earrings
-Acne tshirts
-oh, and everything from Won Hundred new collection

Now for the visuals...

The dream shorts I WILL own this summer.

Hating

As much as I try to be "politcally correct", I figured I would take a more critical view on things today. About a month ago, I read an entry which took a pretty big stab at the average-blogger. And you know what? It fucking pissed me off. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who has the guts to plaster their entire life on a blog should get serious street credit.

The stab sounded something like this: "blog land is filled with this-is-what-I-would-buy-if-I-had-the-money-but-I-don't-so-here's-yet-another-picture-of-me-wearing-H&M-and-I-basically-have-nothing-else-to-say blogs." (keep in mind, this is a translation), but I'm sure you get the picture.

This statement really bothered me, because well.. a select few of us actually have the financial capacity enabling us to purchase Alexander Wang bags, Acne shoes and so on. And aren't we entitled to the right to voice our desire for these items (although, this creates a bit of dilemma considering it gives her the right to voice her own opinion too) ? And yeah, I fucking love H&M. I'm not ashamed, and why should I be? You know, it wouldn't take a lot of creativity to put together a fucking stellar outfit if my bank account resembled Bill Gates'. On the other hand, it takes far more effort to look fabulous if you're on a strict budget.

As far as my own blog goes, I try to make it about fashion, as opposed to my politcal opinion, my faulty life or the trials I come across on a daily basis. I mean, she points out that we have nothing else to say, but then again, why the fuck would I start a fashion blog if I wanted to talk about "important" things like world politics or the continuing Aids problem in Africa? IDIOT. (ps.- if you want to get a more personal view of who I actually am and read more "important" entries, then check out my other blog, which I've had for 4 years here: http://xmoonstonex.livejournal.com/)
To sum up: I encourage all of you readers (all 20 of you, hehe) to continue writing exactly what you feel like! Ok, I'm done ranting now.
Samsøe Samsøe sweater, Won Hundred pants (which I'm thinking I should have bought in a smaller size, damn it!) and my new and lovely Bianco wedges.

Do you have a dollar ?

I've gotten really sick. And it came on Thursday, the day babe and I left for our long awaited mini vacation. Which, of course, was ruined because we were both very sick. We paid a shitload of money to have a nice hotel room for two nights- and all we did was lay in bed, run to the bathroom (to puke, etc) and pop Advil. Fucking awesome! Also, I was supposed to go to my good friend's going-away party last night (had saved my Second Female velour dress for this occasion), but of course, that didn't happen either. I'm sad :(

Now on to the picture-portion of the program...
Woooohooooo. My sand-coloured suede babies are now in my pocession. Can't wait to wear them to death this spring. They sure are a nice alternative to black, esp. when the weather improves.
Picked up these fellas aswell. They've just hit stores and I thought they'd be a comfortable, yet trendy workshoe. And I'm thinking I was right? We'll see after next Saturday when I'm pushing a 6-hour shift.

The man loves to joke around with the camera, he still doesn't take this whole "blog thing" seriously. Then again, why should I? So I've decided there must be room for silly pictures, hence my arse. Enjoy kiddies!

Wearing... H&M cropped blazer, Global Femme tshirt (I like knotting it, otherwise it often looks like a tent, despite the fact that it's an XS), random leather-look leggings, Bianco shoes.

Too late

I was out of the house for the first time in two days last night- it was fun, but I was exhausted. Here's a quick picture of the outfit:

H&M blazer, Wilfred top, Won Hundred pants, Defeeter wedges, Blond Accessories bag.

High Tide

Completely simple, completely doable, and yet completely awesome. I want to look like this when summer rolls around.Source: mielmonmiel.com

..until summer finally reaches Denmark, I might recreate this look with black over-the-knee socks and lace up wedges. But how wonderful bare feet and creme Chanel nailpolish would look with this...gaaah, summer, hurry the hell up!

What's a girl to do

Vacation is here and I'm loving it. Today I made a fabulous breakfast (scrambled eggs, tons of bacon, toast, mushrooms and hashbrowns) and sent my man off to work. I also took a long nap and watched District 9 (which was fantastic by the way).

Valentine's Day this year wasn't really celebrated (it really hasn't been in the past either). We're going on a romantic getaway on Thursday, so the need wasn't really there. Despite this, the man did do something. It seems like something to simple and so trivial, yet it warmed my insides and reminded me why I love him. Small things do count.
I apologize the bad quality of the above picture
I bought these pants yesterday- I desperately needed a pair of simple, black skinny jeans. I only have one other pair of black pants, but they were bought 3 years ago when I was heavier (meaning I can't fit them for shit). So I splurged on these from Won Hundred. I almost never buy expensive pants, but these were an exception (I will try to post a picture of me wearing them tomorrow).
I'm defintely going to be buying this top next Friday (the 26th) when the paycheck arrives. I couldn't find a picture of the top in the creme colour I'm getting, but you can at least see what it looks like:
I was at work yesterday, and yaaaay, I got a hold of these lovely wedges! Can't wait til they arrive, they will look so great with my new Won Hundred pants. I wouldn't mind if the wedge had been taller- but then again, if they wedge had been taller, they wouldn't have been as comfortable!

Nude

The hunt is on. Prom (galla for jer dansker :D) is around the corner and I'm desperate to find something that isn't a nightmare. I try to star the eff away from beading, glitter and most shades of pink. Every year, people arrive in fashion nightmares and I don't want to be one of them. But here's the problem: the selection is rather limited and the web isn't much help- sure, I can find beautiful dresses, but certainly nothing in my price range! Wish me luck -sad face-
This is how I want to look (but won't):

Selfs

I've been slacking these week on photos of outfits. But my friend did take a few pictures of me before class started. Here they are (you have been warned):
Wearing... H&M blazer, Samsøe Samsøe top, April 77 jeans, Friis & Co. necklace, Samsøe thread earrings, Blond Accessories bracelet.

Damn

Wow-this really sucks. Along with the fact the my great grandma only has a few days to live. See you on the other side Alex (McQueen). Death eh? You just can't fucking escape that shit. Chose the bellow picture because I think it shows a better time, a less serious time, don't you think?

WTF

What. The. Fuck.

Artrebels.com, a sweet site filled with all things awesome, isn't actually that awesome. I don't think I've ever seen a website with that many "SOLD OUT" captions ever. This makes the buyer fucking annoyed and frustrated, not making you want to return to the site in the future. Fix that guys!

If you still want to check out this haven of "we-did-have-awesome-shit-on-here-and-we're-going-to-leave-all-pictures-of-the-awesome-shit-on-our-website-just-to-piss-you-off", then click here: www.artrebels.com
I was interested in this dress, plus another five things. But of course, SOLD OUT covered my screen. Picture borrowed from www.artrebels.com

Finally

I work at Bianco- I love my job, but at the same time, I usually spend way too much money on shoes (and don't end up wearing them). I just found an awesome shoe online that I'm dying to own- but our store hasn't bought it! So now I'm going to have to call around and hopefully, another store will sell this to me at buying price! My fingers are crossed. Picture from www.bianco.dk

Junkies in the alley

I usually stay the fuck away from sequins- they're fuckin' everywhere! On jackets, leggings, purses.. it's pure madness. I mean, sequins can look nice, but it must be done tastefully. Until just recently, I only had one sequin item in my entire wardrobe (incredibe eh? Considering the massive hype around this trend), a purple sequin bolero picked up at my favourite vintage store three years ago. Yeah, before the mass hysteria spread like the plague.

On Saturday, I was downtown with my man. He's working full time (to save up for our moving-out-adventure after the summer) and said "You can pick one thing; whatever you want" so that's what I did. And...it has sequins -gasp- I was in doubt whether or not to keep the item..but then I decided, "Fuck it. You're mine now bitch" and here I am, wearing it as I type. The point of this long rant, is basically just to hear what ya'll think of this sweaterSweater from Second Female, skirt from H&M, purse from Blond Accessories, shoes from S///Bar.

I recently picked up this necklace (I'm wearing it in my party picture from last Thursday). I couldn't resist- statement jewellery? One bandwagon I've hoped on. AND...it only cost 100kr! Score.
Here's a picture of my get-up from the weekend (plus some more pictures from the weekend's weed-filled extravaganza):Samsøe Samsøe sweater, April 77 jeans, Blond Accessories purse, Defeeter boots. I know, I look like a scruffy and tired twat (maybe because I am these above things?).

And..here's an item I wouldn't mind owning (shoes, AGAIN. I don't know what the fuck has happened, but shoe-loving has exploded for me).

To round of this rather long picture-post, I'll leave you with a teaser about my new art project. I take visual arts at my school and I do like it most of the time. The only problem? You can't force creativity. It usually just comes and goes (and of course, is never, I repeat, never around when I'm actually sitting with all the tools in front of me).

Introducing..
