My life is pretty shitty right now. I've got the flu and I'm sick as fuck. I somehow managed to make a trip to Århus yesterday though.. Seeing these stellar items in action will have to wait. I'm pretty much trapped in my house and will be for the next few days..

I feel I've gotten much better when it comes to sale shopping. I'd rather buy 3 more expensive items as opposed to 7 items, as experience tells me I'll be more happy with my purchases in the long run. I also bought one more fabulous item, though it wasn't on sale. Oh well, can't win them all. Here's a teaser..

Hey everyone, Merry Christmas. I'm beyond haggard right now, on the verge of getting sick too. Regardless, I'm excited to relax with family, party a tad and do some shopping next week. And yes, I'll be living in flannal the rest of the day.

Today I decided to say "fuck you cold weather" and wear tights. It's been a while since I've worn tights during the day, as it gets extremely cold at work. But I had today off and had some last minute Christmas shopping to get done. How did it go? Well.. let's just say I looked nice and feminine, but I certainly wasn't sweating.

I fear I'm getting a little sick. And stressed out. I'm now looking even more forward to a week of vacation. Sure, it's going to hurt the wallet come January, but sometimes you have to think what's best for yourself and figure out what you need, and if that makes you 3400kr poorer, then so be it.

My day off yesterday was alright- I managed to do a bit more Christmas shopping, but unfortunately, I'm still not finished. Also, I wasn't nearly as productive as hoped. But regardless, I still had a good day. Here's a snap from yesterday..

I'm still in love with my cream-coloured Samsøe Samsøe sweater. It's so cozy and warm. Sure the pricetag was hefty, but hey, the mileage makes up for it.

Last Sunday's advent present was the below item. These sorts of knick knacks are going to fill my own space one day. I can't wait to move out, become independant and decorate en entire apartment- the latter is the one I'm most looking forward to (surprise!). The new jewellery stand is nicely displaying my newly acquired feather earrings from Gina Tricot (ps- the Gina Tricot store has finally opened here in Kolding, but I'm not impressed. The selection of clothing isn't very good and the quality of the clothing is terrible. Not a place I'll be spending too much money, which is probably a good thing either way).

Ok soooo.. I have the day off tomorrow (which I'm thoroughly looking forward to by the way). My day will include sleeping (a tiny bit) in, last minute Christmas shopping, picking up the Christmas tree, cleaning my room, painting my nails, taking some not shitty pictures for les blog, and possibly going out with a girlfriend. I need to dance. And rave. And be silly.

But for now.. here's a shitty picture for you all.

This is the second sweater from Envy I've bought this month. It's a fairly new brand (which can be purchased in Samsøe Samsøe) around town, and it's pretty inexpensive too. I only gave 450kr for this baby, it's comfortable and the quality floats my boat as well. Hurrah.

Also, notice my sad attempt at incorporating old items into my wardrobe.. Those Pieces leggings fit like shit. Not happening again.

My winter look doesn't change much this season- it's so cold out that I "only" have three jackets to alternate between. All of my pretty wool coats are merely decorating their hangers in my closet. This kind of blows chunks, but what can you do? At least the white, snowy fluff looks nice.

I've enjoyed a fabulous weekend in the company of some really awesome people. Though, I had a rather unpleasant experience last night. Have you ever tried fainting/blacking out? Found this wonderful silk blouse from Samsøe Samsøe. It's perfect with jeans for a relaxed everyday look, but you can defintely style it in a festive manner as well. I approve of this.

It's been quite a week for me.. A bit of ups and downs really. I work everyday this week and I'm already tired. Despite all of this, I'm looking forward to next week. I have some awesome things planned and some sick purchases to make. Not too bad at all.

I'm pretty stoked for tonight. It's the annual Christmas party for work, I'm quite sure it's going to be good times all 'round. I still have no clue as to what I'm wearing.. that's always an issue. Regardless, here's a quick picture of my slightly uninspired outfit.

I'm listening to Christmas music and drinking hot apple cider. I've always loved the Christmas season. I know a lot of people don't, but I've always associated this holiday with positive things; time off school/work, quality time with family and loved ones, great food and Dean Martin songs.

When I read other blogs, I'm reminded of how little I actually share with readers (and randoms alike). Sure, I touch on some tough subjects here and there, but I'm pretty vague (unless who ever reading it is close to me, then obvioulsly they know exactly what I'm talking about). I sometimes feel other bloggers out there, go into too much detail.

There's a fine line between sharing your life in a way that won't come back to bite you in the ass and one that will. In most regards, I am open. I mean, I basically post pictures of myself and what I'm wearing on a daily basis! And as contradictory as this will sound, I don't actually like people knowing too much about me. Therefore I often speak of slightly unimportant things that I do, rather than share my thoughts and feelings.

I'm really busy. I have a full-time job. I get home late, I have two days off every week (if even that), and I'm often tired. And when I finally do have time off, I try to cram as much good shit in as I can. And when I say "good shit", I'm referring to hanging out with friends, partying and hanging out with the man. It's seldom I am completely alone. I'm still adjusting to this new lifestyle, and I know now, that I should really be more careful; I don't want to burn out just yet.

Tomorrow will good. I finally have Saturday off (without having asked for it). I plan on getting up late, making breakfast with my awesome neighbours, going to the woods with the man and Sufjan (my dog), making lists for Christmas presents, and going out in the evening. Aaaaahh.. sleeping in will be delightful.

Anyway, this is just a jumble of random thoughts I decided to share on a Friday evening. I have one last thing to share with you guys.. Look what I picked up today:
