Let me search it

As promised, a more fashion related post is coming up! This month is going to be tight (money-wise). I worked a bit during August, but I have several expenses such as my buscard, the Acne dress I bought.. and something else that's seriously exciting. I can't wait to let you all in on the secret! More about that later..

The Acne dress I bought today is for my 19th birthday in a few weeks. All you faithful readers should have picked up on my excitement by now (haha). I'm not sure if I should post pictures of my Acne dress now, or wait until my birthday? Anyhow, here's the other item I picked up today:
Wearing.. Samsøe Samsøe dress, Global Femme shirt, Christiania necklace, Bianco boots.

Recommendation: Collapse

So here's for a non-fashion related post (a fashion related post will come tomorrow as it's payday, haha). I saw this movie a few days ago and it fucking blew me away. If you have not seen it, you must.

It's no secret that I'm into highly intellectual movies- documentaries, dramas and so forth. I prefer to watch movies with depth. Although, I do enjoy a light-hearted British comedy. Or very "off the wall" comedies. But you MUST see this movie.

Flip it and reverse it

I've basically had the most insane, fun, weird, exciting, affectionate, and indescribeable weekend known to youth. I mean, going out Thursday-Saturday is not something that's going to occur regularily, but the offers were there and I thought, "Fuck sleep, I need to have fun". I've slept a total of 11 hours in the last 72 hours. I think I know what I'll be doing later haha.

Though I must say.. some of the things that happened this weekend, were seriously straight from some cheesy teenage movie. Regardless, I still had an awesome time. Hope everyone else has milked their weekend as much as I have!

The weatherman predicted this

Went out last night. Kind of a fucked up night actually. It was eventful on several levels.

It's funny how history has a tendancy to repeat itself. It's scary in ways and it also saddens me that I didn't get up and walk out. But, you can't live in the past. There's nothing you can do to change what has happened (as much as you might want to). I guess it's about looking forward, and in some ways being egotistical. Sometimes you need to think for yourself. Ask yourself what is it you want, what is it you need..

I obviously didn't do that enough.

Regardless, here are a few pictures from yesterday.
Wearing.. H&M jacket, Global Femme tshirt, Bianco shoes.

All the right places

Picked up a few more shifts ar work which was nice. It means I'm not sitting around the house on my lazy ass doing absolutely nothing. Oh, and it also means a bit more money. I've been looking at several Acne dresses for my bithday on the 23rd of September. Speaking of birthdays.. I can't freakin' wait until it's mine turn once again!

Also, tomorrow is likely going to be ridiculously stellar. Can't wait to spend my evening in a killer outfit, in the company of lovely people and listening to sweet tunes on the dancefloor.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of me and my new boots (yep, bought even more new shoes!).
Wearing.. Community hoodie (bought at Aritzia), Bik Bok vest, Bianco circular scarf and boots.

Questions and Answers

So it's time for a little Q & A. I've had the blog for almost a year, and throughout my time as a blogger, several questions have been asked along the way. Thought it was about time to answer some of them officially.

Why do you blog in English?
Well, my mother tounge is English. Meaning my grammar/spelling is stronger in English. Thus, I feel more comfortable blogging in English as that's what comes most naturally.

Are you Danish? If not, what are you?
My dad is Danish, my mom is Canadian. So I'm pretty much fifty fifty.

How tall are you?
Not that tall. About 167cm on a good day.

How are you so thin?
I eat what I want, when I want. So I actually have no idea as to how I am able to maintain this weight. My diet mainly consists of whatever mommy makes, plus a whole lot of Burger King.

What's Canada like?
It's obviously a Westernized country. We're a lot more socialized than the Americans (free health care for example), but we certainly still feel the strong American influence on us. It's hard to explain! But quite different from Denmark.

What are your plans for the coming year?
I have a lot! Earn some money, save some money, and spend some money! Haha.. in more detail: Buy a few luxurious bags, go on a few trips, figure out what I want to do with my life, and enjoy not being treated like shit anymore! And go to Roskilde.

Do you have a boyfriend?
Nope, not anymore :)

If you could try being someone else for a day, who would it be?
I wouldn't mind being Marilyn Monroe. She's so ridiculously beautiful, plus she pretty much lead an uber interesting life. Or Bob Marley.

Name some of the favourite items in your closet
Currently.. my YSL ring, my Acne biker jacket, my black circular scarf, my Calvin Klein watch and all my shoes!

What's your favourite cigarette brand?
Depends on my mood (and which time of the month it is). I used to smoke Kings, but went over to Red Prince. At the end of each month, I switch to Red Pall Mall to save some pennies :)

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time, other than blogging?
I like writing. I actually write more than people around me think, I have never been comfortable sharing any of that stuff with people yet.

I also like taking pictures, sleeping (I can sleep like you can't imagine), watching movies (I'm into indie movies, horror films, and movies that make you question your own conditions), and all that other typical girl stuff (dancing, shopping, hanging out with friends and family, partying, etc.). Oh, and I also love playing cards games on the computer.

For the dough

I basically found the perfect wallet (I've been searching for ages!). I am defintely adding this to my birthday wishlist! I love how simple it is. I'm not usually into makes like DKNY that plaster their name across the surface of their product, but this wallet is pretty suddle, it's the perfect size, it's black leather, and has a gold zipper. Doesn't get much better than that.

A taste of Copenhagen

Just got home from Copenhagen. Had an awesome trip, though I obviously didn't have enough money (especially after my YSL purchase). Despite this, I still managed to buy a couple more items, plus spend some quality time with my family.
The green army jacket was picked up from H&M. I've been searching for the perfect army attire, but none came remotely close.. Until I saw this one. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it fit nicely and it cost me 129kr.. so it was decided; it had to be mine.

The above pictures are all taken at Christiania. I love going there for several reasons: the atmosphere, the awesome jewellery and knick knack stands, and of course, it's nice to be able to smoke out in the open.

And remember.. if any of your readers have any questions regarding my blog, general questions about me, or what ever you feel like asking, post a comment or send to my email! A Q  & A will happen in the near future! lineandreekeller@hotmail.com

A bit of glamour

Soo.. I had been on a waiting list for the YSL ring since forever ago. The rings were supposed to arrive in May, but I never heard from Paris Texas, so I just assumed that they had been unable to get the ring or that they had already sold out.

Paris Texas called me on Friday, which was obviously fate since I was leaving for Copenhagen the same day. Of course, I had to pick up the ring.. Here it is:
And the turquoise looks pretty sweet against my Chanel 505 :)
Dear YSL ring, I have a feeling I'm going to like you for a long time.

A quick update from KBH

It's been quiet the last few days, since I arrived in Copenhagen. Unfortunately, I don't have internet access on my laptop, meaning I can't upload pictures. Therefore, the pictures I've taken the last few days, will have to wait until I get back home. I have a pretty amazing purchase I want to share, so stay tuned!

But.. something happened to me in Copenhagen. You who follow the blog, have probably noticed my desire to own a Mulberry Bayswater (timeless, classic, stylish, etc.) and although I still want to own a Bayswater, I'm going to have to buy something else first. This:

I went into a store and saw it. I mean, I've always really liked the Rocco bag, but never seriously considered it. That's until I saw it right in front of me, in all its glory. The Rocco bag is ridiculously beautiful, immensly luxurious, and well.. god damn it, I want it! Therefore my Mulberry will have to wait, as the Rocco has now become number One priority. I want the version above- black with gold studs (I've always liked gold).

My goal? When I get paid November 1st, this baby will be mine (as I have to put a bit aside from the n ext 3 pay checks)!

Recently aquired

I've had a fabulous day.. Worked until 3pm (a bit hard yes, considering the last two months have been without work and not having to get up at 7am), had Burger King for lunch and got picked up by the man. Pretty cozy if I do say so myself. Here a couple more new things I want to show you all..
Yep, I got my hands on Chanel 505. Actually, that's a lie. My neighbour (who is seriously awesome btw) had ordered them forever ago, and they finally came! I put it on as soon as I got it and it's beautiful :)

The second pair of boots I brought home from Bianco. They're pretty sweet with jeans and will be great for fall.
And here's for a bit of narcissim in my new Samsøe Samsøe top.
Hope everyone else is doing as well as I am at the moment!

I just gotta see it for myself

I did something bad today. I'm still really in doubt as to whether or not it's okay. I'm defintely not one of those people who is into copies, as I find it disrespectful to the designer. But I work in Bianco.. and these wedges basically have the PERFECT shape. It's as though the plateau and the heel are in complete harmony... And let's be honest, I don't have 2700kr for a pair of designer wedges.. What do you guys think?

I also picked up another pair of boots, two tops from Samsøe Samsøe, a necklace from H&M and received a FABULOUS present from my bestest neighbor! The stuff that isn't showed today will surface tomorrow. Plus, I work tomorrow ( I only have two shifts in August), and the first thing on my list when I get my paid is a new phone (the Nokia I previously posted a picture of). Can't wait to have a new phone that actually functions properly! Yay :D
New shirt by Dr. Denim and necklace from H&M (it's actually a headband, but I like it better this way). Also, welcome to the 15 new readers in the past week. Totally awesome, thank you for the support! You guys make blogging fun :)

All the rage

I had a fabulous day with my mom. We searched high and low for treasures, in the second hand stores here in Kolding. But, I arrived home empty-handed. There were a few things that caught my attention and that I almost bought, but I don't want to spend unnecessary money unless I am completely sure of the purchase (and I was not).

I am feeling rather sad right now, despite the fact that I have a lot to be happy about. It's odd and would require a lengthy explanation (which I a) don't want to do, and b) no one wants read), so therefore I will leave it at that. Hope everyone is feeling better than me :)
Wearing.. Wilfred top, Garage jeans, Bianco shoes, Blonde purse.

Here are my new shoes (yep, pretty reminiscent of my Smuk shoes) from Bianco. As I'm returning to work soon, I will be picking up even more new ones. I've already eyed several pairs at work, can't wait to update my shoe wardrobe a bit!
And remember, a Q & A will soon be posted, here's your opportunity to ask any questions! Send to my email: lineandreekeller@hotmail.com

Hunting season starts tomorrow

I have some errands to run tomorrow. It'll be nice to have a reason to get my lazy ass out of bed, assemble a fun outfit, and have a nice day with my mom. As much as I may fight with my mom, I surely do love her. Last Saturday, I spent my day with her downtown and it was seriously nice. Repeats are happening tomorrow, as she has the day off. My mom also has a pretty sweet style, I keep asking her to let me take an outfit picture to share with you guys. She doesn't want to, but don't worry, I'll get her to agree soon enough ;)

Today I was a domestic little mamma, if I do say so myself. I sorted some of drawers, took down the laundry, cleaned, and made supper. I'm also looking forward to a new pair of shoes tomorrow, yay for new shoes!

I don't have much money this month, as I took all summer off. I am utterly excited about starting work again, as this "poor mothafucka" thing is getting old (and BORING). Speaking of my poor, broke self, my mom and I will be hitting all the second-hand stores here in Kolding in search of gold (with a small price tag). Wish me luck! :)
Here's a picture taken at Charles De Gaulle airport from our trip. It shows the pretty detailing of this Wilfred top I picked up in Canada. Maybe I'm I'll be wearing that tomorrow?

And remember ladies, I'll be doing a Q & A soon, so if you have any questions, now is the time to ask! I've already received quite a few on my mail, so either post your question in the comments section or send to my mail! :)

Already getting excited

So, I usually stay away from double-posting in one day. But today I am making an exception, seeing as it's past midnight. AKA, it's no longer today, technically.

My birthday is coming up in September. I love celebrating my birthday. It gives me an excuse to gather all my friends in one place, make awesome food, play really lound music, get presents and go dancing. I've already started to think of what to wish for. I've made a little collage :)
Nokia E71, cupcake jars from moods.dk, ring from fashionology.nl, shirt from Acne.

And readers, remember that I will soon be posting a Q & A, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask me! All questions are welcome. Drop the question in the comments section or send them to my email: lineandreekeller@hotmail.com

A little bit of nostaligia

I'm relieved to be done with school. Of course, there is a part of me that wishes it hadn't gone by so fast. But but but.. it's nice to be done with the enourmous workload, the stress of homework, the tiresome people and the same old routine. I just need to figure out which jobs to take, cause I need monaaaay! :)

Here are a couple more pictures from one of our many days at the beach in Canada..
And below is a random picture (pre-party) from before my trip to big ol' motherland.

Now.. Throughout my less than a year as a blogger, random questions and thoughts have been expressed by readers. Therefore I want to give you all the opportunity to write to me with anything you might be wondering.

The question can span from my personal style, to my personality, to my interests or my nationality. All questions are welcome (though I am not promising I'll answer them all, if some by chance happen to be too personal ;) ) You can write your question or comment in the comments section or send to my email: lineandreekeller@hotmail.com

Like paper and such

I've been a bit down as of late. It's as though the big question ("the meaning of life") has been looming above me like a dark cloud. I was offered a really sweet position in Copenhagen, but I turned it down. I mean.. the purpose of my year off, is to travel. If I move to Copenhagen, it's going to be exceedingly hard to save larger sums of money up for my trips and for the dream bags I hope to aquire this coming year.

Regardless of my turning down the offer, I've still made some good contacts. The possibility of setting something up in the future with them is very good. Anyway, I got a haircut yesterday. Got my bangs done (been thinking of doing it for a while now, but I just couldn't make up my mind) and got a trim. Here's a picture (I apologize for the weird face) :
Wearing.. Zara vest, Samsøe Samsøe tank, Garage jeans.

Planning ahead

Yesterday went really well, although not quite how I expected. I am now forced to make a rather large decision and I'm not sure what the fuck to do (pardon my French). Until then, I'll be figuring out what other options might be available.

I have a few goals for the coming year. I thought I might share them, as it will be more fun for me to reach these goals if everyone is aware of them (and can hold me acountable, haha).

Goals for 2010
  • Invest in a Mulberry Bayswater
  • Save up at least 10 000kr
  • Plan (and possibly execute) a trip to London
  • Learn how to cook 10 more dishes (I need to practice for my future as a 1950's housewife)
  • Read 5 books (I used to read all the time, but as I got into high school (gymansium) I wasn't able to find the time)
  • Start making a scrapbook of my time in high school
  • Buy YSL ring
Goals for 2011
  • Plan a trip to Paris
  • Buy Chanel bag 2.55 while in Paris
  • Learn how to become a skilled photoshop pirate
  • Complete scrapbook
  • Investigate possible career avenues
  • Purchase the classic Rayban aviators
  • Possibly stop smoking?
  • Visit Tokyo with my dad (he's promised me a trip if I save a couple of thousand kroners, which is nothing compared to what it actually costs)
  • Attend Roskilde Festival (if the bands are good)
There is a lot of here. I'm not going to beat myself up if these things are not accomplished. I mean, many of these things require money, planning, a partner in crime and those things may not be readily available. But, it's always nice to have something to work towards. I'm excited already!
This is the first item I'm going to work towards. Be mine Mulberry!

Reasoning is a difficult task

Sitting here, in my bed, getting nervous about tomorrow. I mean, when this thing finally gets going, all the butterflies will disappear. But it's this darn waiting game, the not knowing and the anticipation that kills me. I just want to get it over with! I'm trying my best to be patient. As soon as I know anything, I will share the details :)

Here are a few pictures of my outfit from Monday (I didn't really get out of my pjs today, and let me tell you, this outfit does not deserve pictures):
Wearing.. Dixie hat, Wilfred jean top, Wilfred lace top, Garage jeans, Smuk shoes.

All the madness

Everything right now is chaotic. Chaotic in a nice way; I'm nervous about what the future has in store for me. I've been talking to some contacts who might be able to hook me up with a sweet job, so changes are on their way to me! Exciting, but nerve wracking all the same. As soon as I know more (and when all of this is actually set in stone), I will let you in on it :)

I showed you guys a few new things recently, but I thought you all shoud see them in action. Here are a few pictures from the weekend:
My seriously beloved (and new) vest from Zara, picked up in Canada.
New sunglasses. A cheap pair picked up in Canada. They may be cheap, but I love em.
Wearing.. vest from Zara, H&M top, Won Hundred jeans (the new ones).

Into place

I've been busy with friends the last few days. I love Canada (and my family) to death, but in some ways, it's nice to be home. Not only did I miss my good friends here, I also missed my parents and most importantly, my dog. Damn, I love my dog

I picked up a pair of jeans and a top one of the first days back. Yep, back to my old ways. Though, both items were considerably inexpensive, which makes my guilt less prominent. I still have quite a few purchases from Canada that have yet to appear on my blog. One of the items is in the picture below, with the two new Danish purchases:
Wilfred floral skirt, Won Hundred jeans (can't have enough of those!), H&M top.

A shot from one of my latest evenings out:
Hope everyone else is having as much fun as I am right now! :)

Introducing..
